Ultrasonic flowmeters use sound waves to determine the speed and amount of fluid flowing in a pipe.
The frequency of the ultrasonic wave sent to a pipe and its reflections from the fluid are the same. If the fluid is flowing, the frequency of the reflected wave will be different due to the Doppler effect. As the fluid moves faster, the frequency shift increases linearly. The wave transmitter processes and calculates the reflections from the transmitted wave to determine the flow rate.
In the treatment industry, Dam and irrigation lines, Public and Municipal Water distribution networks, Well and irrigation lines, Chemical and petrochemical lines, Food industry, Fuel industry, In all liquid lines whose flow rate needs to be measured
